MARK & MARIAH MOYLE

Real Estate Agent

& Sales Assistant

Mark Moyle was born in Freeport to Australian parents who moved to the Bahamas as part of the booming financial sector in the 1960's. He was educated in Freeport in his early years and received his higher education in Melbourne, Australia at Haileybury College and afterwards completed a construction apprenticeship with Holmesglen TAFT. He returned to Bahamas in the early 1990's where he settled in Nassau and spent 15 years working in construction and running his own businesses; a custom kitchen cabinet company and a representative for an energy-efficient building product.

In 2010 Mark left Nassau and went to the Exumas to oversee the construction of an off-the-grid vacation home compound on the quiet island of Norman's Cay. Mark's time spent on Norman's Cay allowed him to experience life outside of the bustling metropolis of Nassau. He fell in love with the natural beauty of the Exumas and a slower paced lifestyle, and it was there that Mark and Mariah met.

Mariah is from the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. She received her degree in Business Marketing from Washington State University and after graduating, felt an urge to travel and live in different cities across the US. She ran several successful small businesses but the call to travel was strong, so in the winter of 2009 she sold everything and set out from South Carolina on sailboat towards the Bahamas. She eventually landed on Norman's Cay, where she met Mark.

The successful completion of Mark's project on Norman's Cay opened the doors for him in remote island construction and he went on to manage a construction project on a private island further south in the Exumas, bringing Mariah along with him.

In August of 2013 Mark was asked to assist with the completion of The Residences at the Dunmore on Harbour Island so Mark and Mariah left the Exumas and relocated to Harbour Island. They resided in Harbour Island for 2.5 years before one more stint in the Exumas in mid-2016 before finally landing in Nassau.

A natural progression branching out from construction led Mark to enter into real estate in 2014. His in-depth knowledge of residential and commercial construction allows for an analytical vantage point for potential home buyers. One of Mark's biggest strengths is being able to paint a realistic picture of the costs of building and renovating in the family islands. Mariah has become a great counterpart with her skills in marketing, web design, logistics and client communications.

In Mark and Mariah's free time, you will find them in or on the water. They won't miss an opportunity to go fishing, spearing, surfing or paddleboarding, and keep an eye out for them on a windy day as you will oftentimes witness both of them kiteboarding on one of the many beaches of the Bahamas.
